ImageKills fleas instantly...Dawn dishwashing liquid does the trick. Add a few drops to your dog's bath and shampoo the animal thoroughly. Rinse well to avoid skin irritations. Good-bye fleas.

Did you know that Colgate toothpaste makes an excellent salve for burns?

Achy muscles from a bout of the flu? Mix 1 Tablespoon of horseradish in 1 cup of olive oil. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes, then apply it as a massage oil, for instant relief for aching muscles.Sore throat? Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria.

Honey remedy for skin blemishes .. Cover the blemish with a dab of honey and place a Band-Aid over it. Honey kills the bacteria, keeps the skin sterile, and speeds healing. Works overnight.

Easy eyeglass protection... To prevent the screws in eyeglasses from loosening, apply a small drop of Maybelline Crystal Clear nail polish to the threads of the screws before tightening them.

Smart splinter remover. Just pour a drop of Elmer's Glue-All over the splinter, let dry, and peel the dried glue off the skin. The splinter sticks to the dried glue.

Balm for broken blisters... To disinfect a broken blister, dab on a few drops of Listerine. a powerful antiseptic.

Quaker Oats for fast pain relief... It's not for breakfast any more! Mix 2 cups of Quaker Oats and 1 cup of water in a bowl and warm in the microwave for 1 minute, cool slightly, and apply the mixture to your hands for soothing relief from arthritis pain.

A student art exhibit at Allisons of Manson, kicks off the celebration on May 10th and will be open through May 14th.  Stop in and vote for the people's choice!

ImageA community art show will be held Saturday and Sunday at the United Methodist Church located on the corner of Green Ave. and Boetzkes Ave.

The parade starts at 10 AM on Saturday morning in downtown Manson on Wapato Way.  A new event, "The Manson Idol", will be held on Wapato Way following the parade.  This is your chance to become a star!

The King Biscuit Band will be playing at My Buddy's Place in the afternoon featuring Paul Cowie, the original King Biscuit guitar player

Come to Manson and enjoy the fun!

Manson Apple Blossom and Manson Community Council

Chelan, Washington - Join other Chamber members on Monday, April 9 for the April Chamber luncheon at Campbell’s Resort from 12 –1pm.  The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host the Manson Apple Blossom Royalty of 2007. Queen Jessica Ewing, Princess Nicole Schnell, and Princess Rebeca Rios will offer all Chamber members a glimpse into the 87th annual Manson Apple Blossom Festival.  Morgan Picton, Manson Community Council Chair will also be a featured guest and provide members with an overview of the Community Council’s plans for the future of the Manson Community.  This will be a great opportunity to learn about the wonderful Manson, Village by the Bay.

Buffet style lunch is available for $9.00 ... in order to have enough food and seats for everyone, please RSVP by Friday, April 6.  Call the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce at 682-3503.
