Lake Chelan
Lake Chelan is calm, the sun is out and the fish are biting. We are catching a lot of lake trout and some ling cod here and there.
They are liking the pike minnow with a plastic craw dad body on a 2 oz. lead head jig. The jig head has a 1.0 treble hook attached to the back of the jig as a stinger hook. Using Power Pro 30lb test line - kevlar style with 8 feet leader of 20 lb monofilament Maxima Ultra Green.
Be sure to bounce your jig on the bottom to excite the fish. And it is always a good idea to have a fish finder so you can see the fish on the bottom.
Manson,WA (MVT) - A total eclipse of the moon mesmerized observers on February 20th, 2008. The mid-point of the eclipse occurred at 7:26 PST. To add to the strangeness, the MVT site was hacked later that evening. The damage has been repaired and we are back online as of February 23rd. Read more for photos.
