“Passage to the Orient , the theme of the 2006 Manson Apple Blossom Festival, spotlights the very real relationship as a large majority of fruit grown in Manson makes its way across the seas to the Orient and supports our way of living. The Chicken Noodle Dinner has been a part of that “style of living” for many, many years and this year will again be served downtown at the Sowers Hall of Northshore Bible Church. It is a short walk to the church located on Wapato Point Boulevard and cars can be parked there , if you arrive early, prior to the parade. A delicious chicken noodle dinner, complete with coleslaw, green beans, rolls, beverage and homemade pies will begin when the parade ends, approximately 11 a.m. and serve till ” 2 pm.ish”. Price has been set at adults, $6; Seniors/Students, $5;12 & under $4; and an immediate family rate of $20. Call 687-3598 for reservations on home-delivery that day.
