Chelan, Washington – The Chelan Rotary Club received a generous $1400 donation to the Chelan Rotary Scholarship Fund from Chelan Butte Holdings at the regular Rotary meeting on August 15, 2006.   John Gasper, President, and Dave Abercrombie, Managing Member and General Counsel, of Chelan Butte Holdings, L.L.C. presented a $1400 check to Lee Parker, Chelan Rotary President.

This year the Chelan Rotary Club awarded five $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors from Chelan and Manson High Schools.  Money for the Scholarship Fund comes from various Rotary events including the Chelan Century Challenge, the Salmon BBQ and other fundraising activities.
