The
Chamber board is continuing the process for recruiting an Executive
Director.If there are listeners who are
interested in learning more about the Executive Director position they can
contact me at the Chamber office or any Chamber Board member.In the interim Chamber Board has asked me to
take on the supervision of the Visitor Center.Libby Manthey from the Chamber
Board and Cherie Crose from the LCTPG
board will be working with me and the Chamber staff, Jaye, Cara, Elsa, Marilyn,
Teresa and the volunteers to keep the visitor center operating in a professional
manner during the transition.
Riverwalk Pavilion Concert – RECAP!

Winterfest

Summer is ending and Winterfest is just
4 short months away. Planning is underway and it is time to form our
2007 Winterfest Committee. Our first planning meeting will be held on October
5th at 5:00 pm in the Chamber office.We

Capitol
Christmas Tree Project 2006 (Jaye)
This
year, Washington State has been given the honor of providing the
Christmas Tree that will stand in front of the U.S. Capitol Building in
Washington D.C. during the holidays.Our community has been selected as a stop
along the tour route.The date chosen
for the stop will be on November 13th from 9:00 am to 10:15
am.
The event
promotions manager, Jaye Payne is in the process of putting together an event
for this date. If you are interested in sponsoring the event, a tree, or
