Chelan County Sheriff - Chelan
County Sheriff
Mike Harum announced today an
organizational change within the Sheriff’s Office. During the course of the past
five years the Sheriff has conducted strategic planning meetings involving
staff, citizens and local government, to determine goals and objectives for the
future of the office. Great consideration has been taken to ensure a continued
level of support and service to all stakeholders.
The implementation of a
new management model was dependant on funding and support by those
stakeholders. A needs analysis determined that a July 1, 2007 implementation
was both financially and managerially sound. Based on that analysis, the Sheriff
created three Lieutenant positions.
Sergeant Kent Sisson has
been promoted to Lieutenant managing the Operations
Division.
Sergeant Maria Agnew has been promoted to Lieutenant managing
the Special Operations / Emergency Management Division.
Sergeant Jerry Moore has
been promoted to Lieutenant managing the Investigations, Records, and Property
Division.
These promotions created
additional promotional opportunities for the
following:
Detective
Mike Hartnett has been promoted to
Sergeant of patrol.
Deputy Jason Mathews and Deputy Jeff Dilks have been promoted to
Detective.
