Lake Chelan, Washington - The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce will hold the
9th Annual Lake Chelan RiverDaze Festival September 1& 2,
2007 Saturday, September 1, 10am-6pm and
Sunday, September 2, 10am-4pm. RiverDaze
is designed to showcase arts and crafts, while incorporating family activities
within the natural setting of Lake Chelan’s Riverwalk Park and banks of Chelan River at the edge of downtown
Chelan.
Featuring Northwest Artist such as;
Diane Paton-Peel, the winner of the 2007 Riverwalk Fine Arts art contest,
pottery and silk-screening by Misi Lenci, photographs by Ned Fox, and hand
carved custom totem poles by Dan Donley.
Take the family
on a train ride through Riverwalk Park with Dr.Wayne. Let the kids play on
the inflatables. Enjoy a variety of food items with various vendors.
On Saturday the Riverwalk Pavilion will
be filled with entertainment from 1pm to 8pm.
Beginning at 1pm to 2pm is a Karate and music demonstration. 2:30pm to 3:30pm is the Mood Swings
performing the unique blend of voices and emphasis on upbeat swing music.
From 4pm to 6pm is Deja VooDoo, a local
three-piece rock and roll band playing the hits from the 50’s to the
present. Ending the evening is The
Little Hand band, a local singer/songwriter, whose
music includes original folk-rock and covers. All you need to know is he is
just plain good! Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy the sounds on
the Lake.
What a great day to bring the entire
family out for a fun filled day at Riverwalk Park in downtown Lake
Chelan. Admission and
Parking is free and open to all ages.
