Gilbert, a pilot for United Parcel Service, operates a flight school in Pierce County. Many of the victims were contacted through the flight school.  Pierce County Detectives have discovered that Gilbert grew up in the Manson area and has flown his aircraft, with students, to the Chelan area on numerous occasions. 

Gilbert is currently in custody in Atlanta, Georgia and will soon be transferred to the Pierce County Chelan County jail and charged with 9 counts of child rape, molestation and exploitation of minors. Detectives will be coordinating with Pierce County Detectives to continue the investigation.
