Manson,WA(MVT) - Dr. Mercy Olmstead, Director of Viticulture and Enology Certificate Programs at WSU-IAREC in Prosser, WA, will be holding a pruning clinic at Balsam Root Winery in Manson, WA on February 27th.

9:30 – 10:00 Presentation: Dr. Olmstead will talk about pruning and cropload in the vine – and how to measure vine productivity. She will also give some formulas for calculating vine productivity.
10:00 – 11:30 Pruning Exercise: Participants will have the opportunity to do some hands-on exercises for pruning grapevines. Bring your own pruners/clippers.
