Parade honors public servants who have lost their lives in the line of duty
Chelan,WA(LCCC) - Woodin Avenue in downtown Chelan will become parade headquarters during the 12th annual Chelan Valley Memorial Parade on May 22 at 7pm. “The purpose of the parade is to remember and honor police officers and soldiers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. One of the ways the event does this is by inviting family members of fallen officers and soldiers,” said Event Manager Jaye Payne. The parade now has over 40 entries including local and regional bands, royalty, and service clubs.
Parade participants will begin on the corner of Bradley Street and Woodin Avenue. KOZI radio will broadcast the event live. Please contact the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce at (509) 682-3503 for entry and sponsorship information.
