Old Mill Boat Launch Risky PDF Print E-mail
Written by Gregory Kennedy

Manson, WA - The boat ramps at Old Mill Park are a risky place to launch because of low lake levels, according to Rhonda Vaglio at the Manson Parks Department.  The ramp at Manson Bay opened on March 9th to accomodate boaters unable to use the Old Mill ramps.

The water level is near the end of the concrete ramps and the sand beyond could cause problems for larger boats.

Small boats and trailers may still attempt to launch from Old Mill but the parks department recommends using the Manson Bay launch.

The lake levels are expected to drop even further according to PUD sources.
