manson_trojans_logoThursdays MS Basketball game has been moved to Tuesday the 29th and will be played at 6 pm in the old gym. 

Tuesdays Soccer game has been changed to a 7 pm start time and will be played under the lights on the football field.

The Manson Middle School Girls basketball team traveled to Pateros on Monday, October 21st.

Manson won 33-14. Alyssa La Mar (8th grader) scored 2 points, Megan Clausen (7th grader) scored 4 points, Nery Martinez (7th grader) scored 4 points, Kayla Gosvenor (8th grader) scored 5 points, Angie Guillen (8th grader) scored 8 points and Haley Williams (7th grader) scored 10 points.

manson_trojans_logoThe girls played a great game. They had some great steals, worked hard on defense and ran the offense well.

manson_trojans_logoIn XC action the Manson runners performed well at Saturday’s Oroville invitational.

On a challenging 3 mile course Sam Thomas ran a 17:53, Miguel Leyva a 18:03 and Luis Alvarez 18:13.

Up next Saturday is the League Championship at Liberty Bell.

manson_trojans_logoIt was a tough loss for the Manson Middle School girls basketball team while visiting the Waterville Shockers on Thursday night.

The game was tied 6-6 at the end of the first quarter, and Megan Clausen had all six of the Trojan points.

It was a good match up and both teams answered each others buckets.

At the end of the 3rd quarter, the Manson girls were down by 1.

The 4th quarter each team scored 4 points, which still left the Manson girls down by 1.

The final score, 23-24. Megan Clausen led the way with 10 and Kayla Gosvenor was next with 5.
