On 06/02/16 at approximately 6:15 AM Douglas County Deputies were called to a weapons complaint in the 10 Blk. of S. Garden in Rock Island.
Witnesses reported that a male was firing a pistol in the yard of a residence. Deputies located the man who was carrying a 9mm pistol. Investigation revealed he had been firing the pistol and a shotgun. There were several holes in the wood siding of the residence, which was occupied by a family member. There were no injuries and no other damage has been reported.
The male, a 32 year old Rock Island man, was arrested for reckless endangerment without injury or incident. Deputies are still on the scene working on the investigation.
